New report from Oregon State University* shows the results of a study to determine preferences for online course access.
Despite the rise in the use of smart phones to access e-learning and the improved responsiveness of e-learning sites on mobile devices it seems that the laptop is the preferred device. Makes sense given that most e-learning includes multimedia and textual content, including interactive elements such as quizzes and games, that are still ‘easier’ to view and interact with on a reasonable sized screen.
